    Summary
A good video camera that is fun to use.

    Strengths
Ease of use, Comfortable feel. Good quality video. Can take 1 meg photos, but I prefer my Olympus Digitcam in this regard.

    Weaknesses
Poor quality LCD display. Cannot judge video quality by it. Play back is full of distortions(twinkling areas in the video.)However, viewing final product is a great relief. I will have to calibrate what I see, in the LCD, to what I will get in the final video somehow. Night function is useless. Outside of these things, it's a good camera. I am not sorry I bought it.

    Customer Service
Customer service was exceptional. I ordered a GR DVL320, and had a problem with panning. It would hesitate and was jerky. Called up for exchange for a GR DVL920U. I return the 320 and received and obtained the 920 two days after Dbuys got the returned 320. Quick & efficient service.

    Summary
I like the 700x magnification.I hate the nigth alive, no infrared ,no shoe for flash or extra light.Picture quality on the LCD monitor is average.

    Strengths
    SD Memory cards

    Weaknesses
No Infrared. If knew this I would not bought it. I was fooled by the Night Alive Add. Power supply for A.C. is a clumsy design.

    Summary
It came down to this and the Panasonic 702, which wasn't available anywhere. We purchased this and I am mostly pleased with the choice. This is a great video camera that allows you to take 1 MEGAPIXEL stills.

It has a light, LION battery, it's DV format, can be used as a webcam, software is easy to use and although it doesn't say it's compatable with XP that's what I have and it works fine.

Quality is excellent on video and stills, it's easy to use, including the use of it's menus, it has a large 3.5 LCD and a COLOR viewfinder. Great camera, but not the least expensive.

    Strengths
Image quality of video and stills
    auto light
    USB connection
BIG 3.5 LCD w/excellent image quality
    COLOR viewfinder
    16 MB MM card included
    Webcam ability
    Easy to use
    Easy software setup
    Edit protocal
    Digital and ANOLOGUE-IN

    Weaknesses
    No mic-in
No headphone jack (but it has a built in speaker
No infrared (but can use slow shutter speed to compensate. This is purely a personal preference).
